Do I need to use the panel antenna with the RX at all times?
- Ranger RX can use two different antenna configurations, either a combination of H+V antennas, or the panel antenna.
- For a longer range, more robust connection but with directionality, use the panel antenna.
- For a shorter range with onmi-directional coverage, use the H+V antennas.
Can I use the Ranger RX with 5 V (stick) antennas?
No. Since Ranger TX uses 1 V and 1 H antenna, Ranger RX must always use antennas that are V and H polarized, like the H+V sets of antennas, or the panel antenna.
What is the difference between Ranger and Bolt?
While Ranger and Bolt utilize the same underlying zero delay technology, Ranger provides a number of enhancements for live productions:
- Expanded frequency range form 4.9 GHz to 6.0 GHZ
- Licensed band operation
