The Teradek Bond line of cellular bonding solutions allows you to transmit 1080p HD video over aggregated bandwidth from several network interfaces, including 3G/4G/LTE, WiFi, BGAN, and Ethernet*. Bond devices utilize hardware-based high profile H.264 compression, resulting in very low power consumption and long run times. Each bonding solution offers a local monitoring capability on iOS devices and IFB for communication from the studio to the field.

Bond Pro: Integrated Camera-Back H.264 Cellular Bonding Solution
Bond Pro is a new integrated camera-back H.264 bonded cellular solution designed specifically for broadcast cameras with Gold-mount or V-mount power systems. Bond Pro’s modular design and ease of use make it a simple addition to any broadcast rig. Its light weight and low power consumption allows cameramen to quickly maneuver within tight spaces and broadcast live for long periods without interruption or fatigue. The device comes with an HD-SDI input, looping HD-SDI output, and offers support for up to 6 simultaneous network connections via USB connections.
Bond II: Integrated Camera-Top H.264 Cellular Bonding Solution
Bond II was designed to function as an efficient and portable bonding solution that excels in time sensitive situations and challenging environments with minimal maneuverability. Its compact size, light weight, and low power consumption combined with its cost-effective price make Bond II an unbeatable value for broadcasters. Bond II comes with a built-in HD H.264 encoder, HD-SDI or HDMI input, 6 USB slots for 3G/4G/LTE modems, and requires fewer cables than the original Cube + Bond system. Additionally, Bond II offers a flexible new modem mounting option that ensures your cellular dongles are protected from aggressive movement. Bond II does not include an internal Li-Ion battery.
Bond: Camera-Top Bonding Module
The original Bond is a hardware module that can be added to existing Cube encoders for live HD broadcasting over 5 bonded network connections. Simply connect the module via USB, configure your network settings, and go live.
Sputnik is Teradek’s free software application between Bond and your streaming destination. Sputnik is designed to run on a Linux computer either in the cloud (using Amazon EC2) or on a local server with a single, publicly addressable TCP port. The software recombines the packets from your various network connections into a cohesive stream that can be sent to an H.264 decoder or viewed online. Sputnik is required when using Bond, Bond II, or Bond Pro.
Core is Teradek's cloud-based encoder fleet management system that integrates with Sputnik. From an intuitive Web GUI, users are provided with status updates and extensive control over many parameters of connected Teradek IP video devices, including modem latency and status, buffer length, data usage, and resolution and bit rate. Core also offers real-time archiving and a unique drag and drop workflow that allows you to direct video feeds from any encoder to any number of decoders or CDNs in real time.
Bonded File Upload
Upload files from local storage (SD card, USB flash drive) connected to your Bond system using Bond's aggregated bandwidth. Each file is stored on your Sputnik Server at a use defined location.
Base: Turnkey Sputnik Server &Decoder
Base is an integrated link aggregation and H.264 decoding solution for video broadcasts transmitted over the Teradek Bond line of products. As an alternative to an Amazon EC2 instance or building your own Linux server, Base de-muxes and decodes your video feed from a single rack mount server with an HD-SDI output.
Adaptive Bit Rate Streaming
Bond features Teradek's novel Adaptive Bit Rate Streaming (ABRS) technology, which dynamically adjusts the video bit rate and buffer of your stream in real time to adapt to varying network conditions. ABRS ensures that your content is delivered reliably and at the highest quality possible.
